Condor Visits Brisbane!

Hi everyone,

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of unusual and rare airlines have been visiting Australia. one such airline is Condor. Condor, a German airline, operated several repatriation flights to various Australian cities via Phuket, using a fleet of Boeing 767-300ER. On Sunday the 5th of April, Condor flew a 767-300ER registered D-ABUO to Brisbane.

While I was there, i also captured a few images of stored aircraft, as well as a Qatar 777.

See you all next time.

Gold Coast Aviation- 1 year on

G'day everyone,

Wow. It's been a whole year since I started posting aviation news from the Gold Coast. Thank you all so much for the support. I have always had a passion for aviation, but on the 26th August 2018 I decided to share my passion with the world. I would like to personally thank Sean Herbert and Nicole for your kind words and Special thanks to Brendan. You can check out Brendan's blog at http://madaboutplanes.blogspot.com/ . His blog was the reason I created mine, and for him to add my blog to his recommended blogs list is just amazing. Thank you for all the support!
Here are some of my favourite aviation photos from the past year:

Helicopter Mania

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, do I have a story for you!

Today I visited the Southport spit for morning tea as well as hoping to see some helicopter action from Sea World Helicopters and Gold Coast Helitours. After morning tea I had a look around the spit. Just as I was about to leave, I was shocked as a helicopter suddenly zoomed past as it pulled a nearly inverted bank. I quickly pulled out my trusty Cannon SX430 and grabbed a few shots. I stood on the Edge of the spit in awe of the maneuvers that were undertaken by the Helicopter. I was confused as to why the Helicopter was doing these maneuvers until I noticed the film crew. I asked one of the crew members and they said that they were filming an Amrican TV Series called Reef  Break. As a side note, the helicopter used in the filming was a regular in the area- Gold Coast Helitours' VH-HTY. Anyway Here are some of the photos
